Dr. Tyson Ostroski, Principal
Dr. Tyson Ostroski serves as principal of Blue Valley North High School, where he leads with a strong commitment to academic excellence, student well-being and community engagement. With a focus on continuous school improvement, Dr. Ostroski oversees curriculum development, instructional planning and professional learning to ensure all students are equipped with the skills necessary for success beyond high school.
In his role, he also manages key areas such as school-based leadership, crisis response, budget planning and foreign exchange programs, helping to create a safe, inclusive and globally aware learning environment. Under his leadership, Blue Valley North emphasizes the importance of both academic and extracurricular experiences, supporting a wide range of successful athletics and activities that enrich the student experience.
Dr. Ostroski values the diverse talents and backgrounds of the Blue Valley North community and fosters strong partnerships among students, staff and families. His collaborative approach helps maintain the school’s tradition of excellence while preparing students for the challenges of an ever-changing world.

Katie Pearson serves as an assistant principal at Blue Valley North High School, where she focuses on student support, policy implementation and family engagement. Her responsibilities include overseeing student discipline for those with last names H–O and coordinating parent-teacher conferences to strengthen communication between families and staff.

Michael Moss serves as an assistant principal and activities director at Blue Valley North High School, where he supports student life, leadership development, and school-wide programming. His responsibilities include overseeing students with last names A–G and all school-sponsored and KSHSAA activities.

His responsibilities include overseeing student discipline for those with last names P–Z and supervising study hall operations to support student accountability and academic success.

Kelli Kurle serves as an associate principal and athletic director at Blue Valley North, providing leadership in student programs, school operations and community engagement. As athletic director, she oversees all aspects of the school’s athletics program, supporting student-athletes, coaches and teams while fostering a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork and Mustang pride.
